The castle also organises guided tours, courses, and school 'camps' for pupils of every age and type of school. The school 'camps' organised by the castle allow youngsters a 'hands-on' experience of the world of archeology and imparticular the research conducted in the local area. Specially prepared study programmes allow participants to discover the secrets of past civilisation through practical/theoretical activities and by reading documents dating back from pre history to the mediaeval age.

The theatre has a capacity of 2000 places in the open-air. Lighting may be dimmed as required.
